This is a step-frame trailer.

Our fleet of ‘articulated’ vehicles are all plated to 44 tonnes gvw.  This enables them to carry payloads of up to 30 tonnes depending upon which trailer is used.

Here you see a 13.5 metre flat trailer with a traditional tarpaulin sheet to cover the load.
